Business group manufacturing chemical products, a fully consolidated company located in Granollers (Barcelona), we are growing and we need to add a Purchasing-Logistics Director to our team.
The mission will be to guarantee the contractual, financial and logistical organizational aspects of the company’s purchases, both at the product level and at the service level. And achieve the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the organization.
Reporting directly to Industrial Management and General Management, and leading a team of two people in the purchasing department, the tasks to be carried out will be:
• Control of purchase costs. Comparatives. Analysis and optimization
• Review and improvement of current suppliers contractual conditions : prices, framework agreements, etc.
• Market analysis of potential suppliers
• Negotiation of contracts and conditions. Closing of agreements
• Research and approval of new suppliers
• Logistic costs optimizations
• Guarantee the administrative management of purchases and supply chain
• Elaboration of the department’s budget. Comprehensive monitoring of the fulfilment of the budget
• Guarantee the company’s quality standards in reference to the delivery dates of supplier orders
• Continuous improvement of department processes

To fill this position it is essential that you can provide us :
• Higher education (economic or technical) and Master’s Degree in International Trade, Logistics or Purchasing
• Leadership ability to assume entire responsibility for the purchasing department
• Professional experience managing work teams
• Extensive knowledge of INCOTERMS concepts
• Professional experience in the Purchasing-Logistics area
• Strategic vision of international trade
• Advanced level using Excel. Common work tool
• Catalan and Spanish correctly spoken and written
• English at fluent conversational level. You will use it every day because many of our suppliers are international
